Vietnam Academy of science and technology giving awards to international scientists
On the occasion of the 90th Anniversary of the Institute of Oceanography and the First-class Independence Medal Ceremony, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has given awards to 10 international scientists who have significant contributions to the international cooperation with Vietnam in marine science.
They are the leading scientists in international organizations, universities and research institutions including: The Universities of Tokyo, Nihon and Kitasato (Japan), University of Hamburg and Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Ecology (Germany), Stockholm University (Sweden), V.I. Il'ichev Pacific Oceanological Institute (Russia), Queensland Primary Industries and Fisheries (Australia), UNEP/GEF-SCS Project.
