Nha Trang is a coastal city of Khanh Hoa province with a population of about 330,000. Considered Vietnam’s most famous seaside resort-town, Nha Trang attracts tourists for not only its stunningly pristine beaches, moderate marine climate, but also the urban atmosphere of a young tourist city. Nha Trang Bay has consistently maintained its position as one of the most beautiful bays of the world, covering the area of 405 km² with many large and small beautiful islands and coral reefs.

With many universities and research institutes, Nha Trang has become a center for training and scientific research of Southern Central Viet Nam.
