Activities for assessing impacts of social economic activities on Ninh Hai coastal waters was carried out by experts of Khanh Hoa Association of Marine Science and Technology (KAMST). The activities included surveying of the waste sources, sampling waste water, undergroundwater, and surface water at designed sites, and sampling the ambient air. The coral and sediment sample were also collected for radioactive measures in the context of the recent earthquake-sunami in 11th March 2011 in Miyagie Japan.

   The data derived from the samples would be used as the base for making environmental impacts assessment for present and future.
