The Conference: "MARINE BIODIVERSITY OF EAST ASIAN SEAS: STATUS, CHALLENGES AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" to be held jointly by the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change  Research (APN), Institute of Oceanography, Vietnam Academy of Science  and Technology, and A.V. Zhirmunsky Institute of Marine Biology,  Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in  Nhatrang City,  Vietnam in December this year. The goal is a multidisciplinary education of PhD and Master Students in marine sciences which covers physical oceanography, climatology, biogeochemistry, nutrient cycles, marine biology, geophysics, geology, sementology, numerical modelling and network analysis.

The Organizing Committee would like to thank all international and national scientists, marine managers and policy makers as well as coastal local authorities for your great interests in the Conference “Bien Dong - 2007”. Up to now, the Conference’s Secretariat has received more than 120 registrations and abstracts from interested scientists. The 2^nd Announcement, also the last, is now sending to all registered participants to provide more detailed information on the Conference.
